The Prince Charlie jacket and waistcoat are very dressy and easily create a formal air of elegance. The dark black color means they easily match almost any kilt worn. Also, the wide opening of the jacket permits an easy focus point on a tie or bowtie, either of which works well with the jacket. The back of the jacket trails over the kilt hiding the leather strap size-adjustor if applicable. Although the jacket doesnât button, it does not interfere with the wear-ability of the piece. Also, the jacket gives room to grow because the end of the sleeve is sewn into the inside of the jacket. This can be undone, adding about an inch of arm length to the sleeve. Overall, the jacket achieves elegance with price awareness, while not giving up any on comfort or dressiness.

My new Prince Charlie jacket and vest are FANTASTIC! I Love it! I have recieved so many compliments on how good it looks, and how well it fits. It really accents my Kilt. The vest is very well made and unrestricting, the most comfortable formal wear I have ever worn. The only draw back is the pockets aren't open, but I can live with that. The jacket does not bind or restrict my movments at all. I can play my bagpipes in comfort. The quality is very good, much more that what I expected. It gives me a great felling of pride in showing off my Scotish heritage.

I bought three of these jackets for me and my bhoys for formal nights on a cruise. All three are great fit and i'm sure we will be smarter than anyone wearing a tuxedo.

Great quality Jacket. Looks good, very formal. I'm looking to wear this at my wedding so I am very pleased with the look of the Jacket. My only problem was that I am very broad shouldered so although I got my measurements taken by a professional for chest and arm length I and chose an appropriate jacket size. (44" long) I found that the coat fits a bit tight in the shoulder and in turn the sleeves are a bit short. Luckily there is enough material to get the arms lengthened by an inch and I'm hoping to get a bit let out in the shoulders then everything will be great. Also based on their style of the cut I'd suggest that you be prepared to wear the jacket with a nice pair of cufflinks as the jacket seems a bit shorter in the arms then in an american style cut jacket.
Product merits: Great material. the 100% wool gives a nice traditional black colour to the coat. (Don't expect a modern suit sheen). Buttons are great. Nicely flush to the material, unlike some jackets you'll see online. Amazing Price, I scoured the internet for a better jacket price (without sacrificing quality). %AGreat material, great price, great jacket and vest.
Product drawbacks: I'd aim long for your arm length, and go on the upper limit of your chest size if you're a big guy. But at these prices I think we can afford the alterations.ªlso as mentioned above there are no functioning pockets, (not even ones on the inside of the coat) but I mean you have a sporran so what do you need pockets for.ªlso some more photos would be nice. (I'm glad I bought it but it was hard to take the plunge without more photos for reference.)

Product drawbacks: Sizes on the small size. iam a 46" chest & had to send jacket & vest back to exchange for a 48" chest which fits snug.

well impressed with the quality of this jacket and waitcoat considering the price, it sits well and looks very smart and elegant compliments my kilt very nicely.%D%Awell recommended to someone on a tight budget but wanting the expensive look

This product is outstanding. It is extremely classy, fits great and looks sharp. It is the prefect complement to any kilt for occasions where you want to look your best. The waistcoat and jacket are, in my opinion, a fantastic deal for the money.
Product merits: Looks sharp, very comfortable, great fit, non-restrictive. Price and quality cannot be beat.

Bought this jacket and vest for my father to wear to an upcoming family wedding to dress up his casual outfit. Wasn't sure what to expect at the price, but have to say, the craftsmanship is beautiful. Along with some other accessories from the website he looked very smart and enjoyed the day immensely.
