Bought this tartan during a big sale and got a great deal on it. Should have been 13oz in factory stock, but when that was not available the company instead got me the same tartan in the factory's 16oz version for the same price. There was a delay of about 4 weeks for the tartan to be woven/located but when it arrived it was beautiful.
Product merits: High quality tartan from one of the most respected mills, free upgrade to 16 oz from normal 13 oz fabric when it was not available.
Product drawbacks: Delay in delivery due to lack of stock---easily offset by the better quality of fabric and value I got for my price.

I ordered 3 different tartan patterns by the meter. I ordered the Black Watch Modern from Marton Mills, the Mayo County 10oz from House of Edgar and the Kilkenny County 10oz from House of Edgar. The material I will be using to make sashes for those in my wedding. The patterns are very vibrant and beautiful! My only complaint if it is even a complaint is that the Mayo and Kilkenny material were ordered from the same maker and are both supposed to be the same weight but the Mayo cty is MUCH lighter than the Kilkenny.... the Kilkenny feels like a thicker wool and the Mayo feels like a polyester weight... not sure why but they will all do wonderfully for my wedding attire!

We purchased 8 yards of material through your company, from the martin mills.The material when it arrived was wery well packed to keep out all chance of moisture, which relly appealed to us. Upon starting the first kilt we found the material very easy to work with, it ironed easly and holds the pleats nicely. We were pleased with both the product and the fact that delivery was on time, if not befor the schedualed delivery date.
Product merits: Great colors, easy to work with.

The silk tartan matches the wool very well, what's more, it is absolutely practical for the climate here in Texas. My wife is so pleased with the fabric and she can't wait to make a dress that suits my kilt. Thanks again.

The tartan I purchased was everything I could have hoped for. The fabric is lightweight, tightly woven, and drapes beautifully. The skirt I made is just amazing. I will wear it for many years!

The fabric of the tartan I ordered is great and absolutely fits my needs. We were planning our wedding and we figured out that it would be great to highlight our heritage! We used the fabric for various things for our wedding, mostly decoration. All the guests loved it. Awesome!
